    These guys are so small. And they wouldn't let me get very close, so this a very large crop from horizontal.

    Lovely and different setting and BG here and you did a great job of catching the wing flap!

    Having the bird angled away and the feet hidden both detract from the image for me.

    Yes, I definitely wish I could have been better positioned. But am happy to have captured this behavior.
    I'll be going back this afternoon if they're still there.

    You could not have asked for a better wing stretch. Mike has mentioned the two same concerns I have here on this otherwise fine image. Was the pin-point catchlight added in post?
