EVENING SHOWER IN YELLOWSTONE
Nancy and I used the same PS conversion to IR. I cloned in some grass on a bare patch of foreground. The image was captured on a recent visit to Yellowstone. Lake Butte Overlook is a wonderful spot for viewing sunsets. The evening we were there, small thunder storms were moving across the lake.
Nice composition Gary. Love that sweeping cloud. I am wondering what it would look like with a bit more contrast.
Lovely! The dark and light areas are arranged very artisrically. I think some Clarity in LR/ACR, or the equivalent* in PS, would make the clouds very dramatic.
* Either some High Pass sharpening or the use of Unsharp Mask with a large radius and small amount might work well.
