After spending some time looking for another little owl I finally found one just a few miles North from my current Quarry site ,lots of potentials at this new site so I started today more in hope of monitoring the site rather than get shots ,however after a 5.00 am start I decided to spend the full day,i ended up with a few shots but this is one of my favourites of the day,bearing in mind it was my first day with a camera instead of the binoculars Little owl New location 9th August (1 of 1)-5 by den9112, on Flickr
Lovely little owl you have here full of feather details, and I am enjoying the flowing feathers as well. I like the pose, perch and sky but wish the object were not behind the owl as I feel it detracts a bit from a cool pose and image.
If you would please share your settings with your next image it would be most helpful.
