    D4s 500f4 &1.4tc.
    f8 1/4000 Iso 500
    I shot this kneeling a in a lagoon in 2-3 feet of water with camera just above the waterline, I was mostly getting flight shots, but can't resist the wing drying sessions. There is a large crop on this shot so I hope to improve on the head angle and IQ on a similar shot very soon.

    Great pose and excellent exposure and detail!
    Definitely looks like a situation worthy of some more time and effort.

    Could use some CW rotation.

    Excellent image. Very nice exposed whites with beautiful details, nice HA, lights,colors and composition.

    Your exposure is spot on, Robert, and I am just loving all your feather details. My favorite little details of this image however is the stray feather!!! Great bathing pose with a nice catchlight. You nailed this one.

    Hi Robert, the IQ looks fine for a 'larger' crop as you state, and love the outspread wings. Exposure looks spot on, and couldnt miss that stray flying feather - adds a lot to the image. Maybe a touch of CW rotation.
