    The butterfly is perched on field scabious, I thought it was just a little different to show something of the under and over wings simultaneously.

    The angle of the butterfly works well. It is different than the traditional side angle shot but sometimes those appear very flat to me. Your angle here adds a little more dimension.

    Hi Jon. I like that we can see some of the colorful upper wing. The butterfly looks like a fresh specimen - giving you a nice pose in good light and it stands out dramatically against the lighter background. The flower adds a splash of color and I like the tilt of the flower and stem. This is very nicely done!
