    1/1250 @ f/8.0 ISO 800

    NR on BKGD, NIK DE and TC layer at 15% opacity on bird only.
    Removed some twigs coming into frame from edges, USM. Crop @ 60 % FF

    Good job on the twigs. Bird is nice and sharp. This need more space in front of the bird and a slight head turn towards us.

    Nice detail and exposure on this one. I agree with Aidan about the better HA and I think you did well considering the harsh looking light.

    Sharp, and well exposed in the harsh light. That harsh light did make the image appear very contrasty though, it would be worth reducing that (or using fill-flash to lift the heavy shadows). Some colour noise a bit evident on the belly, did you need to lighten that are in post? I do like the perky pose with the raised tail - only needed a better head angle. BG OK overall, but a few of the brighter scraggly lines would have been better had they been softer IMO.

    A sweet little bird.I wish for a better HA
    The harsh light is the problem here and makes the image contrasty. Would try to reduce this in PP.
