I found a Goldhammer, collecting main and tail hair of our horses for building the nest....

Neat. Birds around our house get lots of soft nesting material from the four shedding machines we call dogs.

I keep trying to change the composition a little, I don't think I wold crop out the wire, so maybe a bit off the top? I just feel the bird needs to be a little higher or lower in the frame.

I really like this one. The colors, detail and exposure are excellent. I especially like the horse hairs, fence post and barbed wire.......they all add to telling the full story. I did try a different crop. I like what you have posted but thought you might take a look at a different perspective.

Beautiful bird and I like the horse hair nest building pose. Around our place the sparrows and swallows are always using the mane and tail of our horses so we have all these nests with long pieces of hair hanging out.

I like Lana's crop, it accentuates the bird more.

I really like the choice of crop on the repost from Lana it really keeps my eye focused on the subject. I love the comp. with the little birds beak full of nesting material. Nice Shot!
