    Default Theme - Palouse Farmhouse

This was taken with my Canon 30D converted to IR by Life Pixels. I originally did something to it about a month ago and don't remember what! I think it was Nik CEP Midnight Blue. Today I added a slight Orton effect and then a slight Glass filter in CC.
    Thanks for looking

    Cheryl,

Greetings. Something kinda spooky about this one. I like it. The blues are very cool. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers,

My favorite part of IR is that other worldly glow. It really can create a unique moody image like this! I love that small sinking building on the right and the sweeping clouds!

As my grandmother would have said, "That looks ghosty" Love the glass look, gives it that other worldy effect. I like, too, that the sky is so overpowering on this little set of buildings. Makes the mood.

I like the blue and the mood. Is this the one down the hill that we did in the afternoon? Our first Palouse workshop sold out instantly but there is still room on the 2nd one next June. Click here and scroll down if interested. You will find an interesting exercise at the top of the page :)

Hi, Artie, thanks. I think it was the afternoon shoot - I'm thinking it was the house to the left of the side road and the main road had some interesting green/brown fields that we walked back to and got close-ups (and blurs!). One of the last days of the trip, I think, although it is pretty much a blur (no pun intended)

Mood is definitely the word for this one. I really like the fantasy look that IR gives. I wish I had a camera to do this with; it seems that the filters just don't quite look the same. Nice processing.

YAW. I must be confused... I was thinking of the one where we headed there at about 3:30 and stayed there till sunset..... It was one of the famous ones.... Mind is too fuzzy :)

Hey, Artie, I never knew where I was or where we were going but I think this is the stop we made that you are featuring on your blog right now. Your shot of the farm was on the main road and we initially turned right on the road that led to my scene then we went back and took images of those fields (I don't think I took any of the scene you featured but did take images of the fields and some blurs). Of course, I may be the one who is totally confused!
