A captive wolf dog from the International Wildlife Center near Forest Lake Mn. I was inside the enclosure where a number of wolf dogs were kept. It was snowing. This striking animal was black with yellow eyes. He seldom looked straight at us but would appear to ignore us while looking at us indirectly.

The yellow against black is really striking and gives this guy a very ominous look. The snow on the animal is frosting on the cake (so to speak). Very well done.

Outstanding image! Love the tight crop. Really brings out the eyes.

Wonderful and intense eyes. Great contrast of the snow and the dark fur and, of course, the yellow eyes and dark fur. Effective crop. I love this photo.

Nothing like a black wolf in snow. Love the eyes. And the powder snow on the coat is a huge plus. It brings it all together.
