I captured this image last March at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. I have been going through my images sorting, key wording and adding titles and captions. This one struck my fancy, working on it again today.

Pretty subject (and one that I've never been able to get good images of)... in good light quality. Details are pretty sharp where it counts. The sky is...meeeh, and the flight pose could be improved upon imo, with wings more up or down. Exposure looks hot on the back
Hi Joseph, great view of the head and bill, love those reds, and the blue eye. I agree a better wing position would have been first prize, and maybe moving him down in the frame would work better - it would give him more room to fly up towards the ULC.
Thank you all for viewing and commenting. Regarding the wing position, White Ibis have a flight pattern of flapping and gliding, flapping and gliding. This image show the ibis while gliding between flaps, I know not the conventional full upright or full downward position but I have other images showing that. Thanks again for viewing and commenting.
