Hi Ben - An instantly recognizable as Etosha scene. Nice light and you did well with the exp for both the bright and shadowed areas caused by the side lighting. Good job on the reflection too. If it were mine I would crop down from the top to just below the patch of grass/dirt and the dead wood to create an all rock bg.

Rachel

Hi Ben, very good light and good composition. I like the reflection, but wish that there wasn't ripples in the water to have better defition, but I guess that was not possible with so many zebras drinking at the same time. TFS. Loi

Nice Etosha scene here, Ben! I support Rachel's crop suggestion, and would add a hint more midtone contrast or local contrast enhancement to the scene...
Maybe also toning down overall highlights through a luminosity mask at about 20% opacity?

It's almost instantly recognisable as an Etosha scene, nicely composed with a great reflection Ben, I agree with Rachel's alternate top cropping and Morkel's highlights reduction.

Hi Ben very nice and typical Okaukuejo scene very well captured.
I like the symmetrical line up of the Zebras with that soft light filling the scene.
Good suggestions regarding crop /tones by the others in which i agree.

Very lovely composition with all the zebras lined up and drinking together, plus capturing the reflections! Great that you didn't have the odd zebra turn away or another animal jump into the scene. I think you could crop just a tiny bit more from the top of your repost, but not quite as much as Andreas' posting. I'm good with the tones of the zebras in your repost, the center ones seem a bit too dark in pane #8. But that could be due to slightly different monitors and browsers.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. The centre one is darker than the rest-darker skin. I also think the second crop is slightly better than the third.
