That's a wow image! What a gorgeous carpet for this bird to display on! You outdo yourself at times...! Some kind of bg context is the only thing that could make this one better...then again, it's mag cover ready as is :)

Another Wow. A real beauty, made special by the gorgeous moss-garden perch. The head turn and bg work just fine for me, and the open bill is a bonus. Although the bird looks sharp, it almost looks like the moss beneath the bird is sharper and may have been the focus point. In any case, an image to be proud of.

As we are used to it from you, another perfect image. Re-visualized and well executed.

How long did it take you to assemble that perch? Gorgeous image...lots of visual candy throughout. Love the two hind toes sticking out.

I really enjoyed reading your newsletter on how you built this amazing perch. Truly brilliantly thought out,

    Hey Ashley, good catch :-)

I used Canon (Borrowed gear) during my workshops in Canada due to dropping my Nikon gear in the lake for the second year in a row.

Beautiful bird image and the setting is just fantastic, Alan.
Sorry to hear about your mishap. It would have killed me on the spot.
