I had ten full days of shooting in Florida, I would have wanted a lot more, of course, but it was very nice. I came to the Island (going with Grand Tours boat) with the white pelicans the last day they were there in April, next day they seemed to have moved north. Except a few sharp but not so interesting flight shots, this is the only shot I got. As they were just sitting and nothing happened I used 1200 mm (600/4 plus 2 x conv.) to try to find something interesting in the group. It is cropped a little little bit to the left, or was it right.
Birds do imitate each other, we have seen it out there, but now also researchers have come to that conclusion. And it is most true for those species were the male and the female get old and live in a life long monogamic partnership (socially, not always sexually monogamy as the female sometimes uses even other males as sexual partners). Sorry, I havn't the exact English words.

Reason: mis-spelling
Very interesting grouping. I really like the bird that is sort of hiding in the lower left corner. If there is enough room, I might consider moving that to a stronger place in the frame, but I'm looking at this a bit different than most will I bet.
