    Binu,
Spectacular synchronized action you have captured here with apt title. I like the poses with raised wings, very nice HA showing brilliant red eyes.
Love the details in whites, flash and water droplets, beautiful BG and FG with reflection.
Panorama composition looks very nice. If mine would crop behind the bird still first flash and would add on the top.( personal test of course).
I have tried and it looks good too.If you don't mind I can post it.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Great shot! Looks like you've cloned them! The front beak & face might be just a tad soft but it's not too distracting. Nice one!

This display behavior is on my bucket list.
Wonderful capture with the symmetry and the low POV and the nice BG colors.
I like the pano crop but could also see a version where the grebes are moved down in the frame thus adding more room above the heads and less of a reflection.
Would LOVE this one in my files,
    Gail

Wonderful capture Binu. Technically fine so it all comes down to a matter of framing. I like it as is with one-third reflection but I also like Gail's suggestion of taking more off the bottom and some more on the top. Either way, I think most judges would be very satisfied. Well done! Regards, Ian.

What Gail said! Splendid image; without a doubt the best frame I've seen of this behavior.

Awesome action and behavior captured. Light quality is excellent and well exposed for. Composition wise I like it as is.

Simply spectacular, with great techs and behavior. Yes, I could see a little tweaking of the comp -- bit off the left and bottom, add to top and maybe left -- and maybe a slight selective USM on the LH head. But a real winner just as posted.

Doesn't this image need ccw rotation, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? A seriously good frame, love the action and all the intense splashing. Good suggestions above.

Very spectacular. Love the behaviour that you captured expertly. Great splashing action too. Excellent BG and colours. I like the amount of reflection showing, but I too think a bit more above would be cool.

Hi Binu, well timed to have captured symmetrical poses, both tack sharp, and love the flying water from their ' dance'.

I feel the image is level. The Grebe's are actually 'dancing' slightly away at an angle, thus giving the impression that the image needs rotation.

    Thanks Gail!
I've cropped the top of the frame right at the border of the brown BG. Cropping above it adds one more layer of blue BG. But I can extend the canvas and clone the brown BG to have more room at the top. Will try it out today.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and suggestions!

Thanks Bill! Will play with the composition and sharpen the head of the bird at the LHS.

Thanks Grace; Daniel! I though the same when I looked at the image after processing, so I double checked in PS to make sure it's level. Either I didn't do it right or as Stuart mentioned the angle gives that impression.

Fabulous photo, Binu!! I agree with Stu - the need for rotation is an optical illusion, the birds are not in the exact same plane of focus so it's fine as is.
