    One of my earlier attempts a year or so back.Plant in a pot in conservatory
    Felt cloth back drop. Focus ring method.
    D7000
    Sigma 50mm macro
    200 ISO
    30th @ f 5
    6 Stacked images.
    Slight crop.
    Tripod /remote
    Please dont download and blow up - you'll find too many faults !!!

    A powerful image, I like the composition. Some of the stamens look a little jagged but otherwise looks good to me. The leaves in particular seem to show excellent detail.

    Hi John. Beautiful colors and the stacking got everything sharp! The black background worked well here and I like the comp - though I think I would like just a little more space on top. This is very well done!

    Hi John,
    The colors really pop against the black background. Suggest a little more room on the sides and top. A very fine image.

    Beautiful! Not easy to stack shots like this, with so many overlapping elements. It's so pretty I have no desire to nitpick.

    Quite striking. I like the BLACK BKGR, the image design, the SH, and the PINKs. Pretty much everything about it in fact.
