    Alan:

Lovely sky, foreground, birds well framed by channel. Suspect it looks even better when viewed large to show a little more detail.

    Cheers

A beautiful Canadian scene! I love the clouds and the colors of the sky.
My only problem is the outline of the house. It takes a bit away from the feeling of being out in the wilderness. It would be easy to clone out if not against your ethics.
I like your placement of the loons.
Another composition option ( not necessarily better) would be to take a bit off the bottom to just above your signature. This would place the loons right in the crosshairs of the rule of thirds.

Killer silhouette with a great feel and colors. The movement in the water adds a lot and the placement of your loons works well. House doesn't detract for me, although it would the viewer more of a wilderness feel as Gail indicated.

Great looking bird scape image, Alan. It reminds me to the landscape I experience while up in Algonquin, Ontario.

A real beauty, Alan. I love the reflected sunset in the water, and the position of the loons. Gail's suggestion might make it even better. Makes me wish I were there.

At first I was thinking I did not care for the wake from the boat, from what appears to be the use of a trolling motor...but really, the more I look at the image, there is a nice mirroring of what's going on in the sky carried over into the water,.. and the mercury like texture to the water on the right hand side of the frame is pretty sweet....the outline of the house or cabin looks great imo, but another consideration would be to blacken out the still visibly white little blocky areas in the land...I'm guessing some type of dock structures...?

What a beautiful sunrise scene, at least it looks like sunrise. The colors are awesome and I love the clouds.
I really like the little cabin, although it's not a natural component, it looks like the place that we would be staying on our trip there :) Nice Frame
