Hi folks another one from Donna Nook , do not blame me Steve .

These two adult bulls met at waters edge and approached slowly , checking out the other one. Do not know if this is correct described ?

It took some minutes to come close together and finally getting a sniff of the other one.

The mush in the FG is blown sand , wind was very strong .

Canon EOS 1D MK II n
    EF 500 IS L
    Tripod

    F 5,6 ; Iso 200 ; 1/750 sec hence the settings , not ideal for my todays standard .

Cropped for pano from all sides . Processed in DPP and PS CC

Thanks watching and commenting to my previous thread.

    Cheers Andreas

Hi Andreas - looks like a tender moment. Nice color palette. Personally I find the blowing sand distracting because it is brighter and pulls the eye. Did you add any blur there?

Great image Andreas, personally i like the blowing sand, i would however crop just a little more of the bottom to get rid of the dark line about 10mm off the bottom. Detail looks good on the left seal but perhaps just a little more selective sharpening needed on the right one.

Cool moment, Andreas, and I personally LOVE the mushy blowing sand. Good suggestion from Brendon to take just a sliver off the bottom...

Thanks Rachel , Brendon and Morkel for feedback/comments , really appreciate that you took your time for typing.

Rachel - no blur added .
Morkel /Brendon - i actually like the slight tonal break in the FG mush otherwise it will look to sterile , at least to me .

Thanks again and cheers , Andreas

I like it Andreas as it captures the location and the blowing sand I feel is a great addition to the image. if i can find it I send you an image in a similar style at this location, food for thought.
