A handsome little sparrow is the Savannah Sparrow, in all it's many varieties... :)
This one was photographed in Duluth, Minnesota about two weeks ago. Canon7d, Sigma50/500os, iso800, 1/320, f9, barely cropped, NR to the bg, USM. Perch is naturally occuring. Audio used as an attractant.
    Comments and critiques welcome.
    Regards,
    Shawn Zierman.

This is one of the few sparrows we get allot of out here during the winter migration. Very nice frame with great feather detail and I like the perch and the complementary BG, it matches the brow color nicely.
I find the image dark on my monitor and I think an all around exposure increase of at least a third would look better IMO. Otherwise a gret looking capture Shawn.

Sweet little fella, and it has landed on a very nice perch for you here. I really like the oof flowers adding colour to the BG. The image may feel dark but I like it as is as it portrays a very end of day (or very early beginning?).
