Cheryl,
Beautiful! The subtle shifting of the land accentuated with the light on the ridges is just beautiful. Perhaps, a little more ridge detail in the distant ridges on the top right... I tried one using Nik Siver Efex - midtone structure then blended back with a luminosity blend for grins (not a clear winner). Might be worth a try. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,
-Michael-

I like the OP better...dreamier. Just a hint of light gives this the feel I like. Good capture!

Tough call -- very cool either way! Great capture of atmospherics!

Love it! The monochrome is dramatic. The lines are suggestive, sensual, gentle. The overall effect is that cross between abstract and reality that I especially like. It must have been a great experience to be there. I like both versions.

Both are cool, would never have known it was at Palouse, thought it was sand dunes somewhere. Lovely image Cheryl, a wall hanger.

Like the first Cheryl. Such beautiful lines and colours. I like the tire tracks contrasting with the horizontal lines of the hills. I could look at this for hours

This is awesome! Totally love the saturated golden colors with the highlighted ridge lines fading back into the distance. I prefer the first image with the softer appearance. I agree with Anita that this blend of abstract and reality is very dramatic.
