    Default Theme Winners: "Something Old"

There were some very interesting entries for this theme ranging from old subjects creatively processed to applied techniques that make a modern image seem older.

1st place: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...Old-Processing by Michael Gerard-Yamasaki. Michael used technique to make this image feel like an old block print with convincing results. Congratulations!

2nd place: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...-ARIZONA-THEME by Gary Ellwein- Outstanding processing and a soft palette give the viewer a sense of place and antiquity. This one feels both old and dry. Nicely executed!

3rd place: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...Old-Canal-Lock by Anita Bower. Drawn in with excellent composition, one can almost feel the textures of old concrete, rust and wood dominating this scene.

Congratulations to our winners and thanks to all for participation and commentary on this weeks images!
