Very nice image and exposure Gus. For my taste, Would have liked to have seen Mr. Bird with a different head angle; looking at you. But we can say that he is looking at whats going on in his negative space...

Now we need to get you to do something else Get the birds in a lower perch or...... make the image form as far away as you can. With your set up the max equivalent focal length is 600mm, try working at that focal length for birds in higher perches. It will flatten the perspective and look very different.
You got a beautiful blue bg, the light part of the flower have detail and have detail in the shadows ... all courtesy of soft light !!!! Looking forward to the next one !!!
