I had my usual Sunday morning walk along the Old Course St Andrews, where I managed to capture a few shots of this Stonechat. I hope you enjoy and thanks for having a look.

I like the subdued lighting, colours and killer pose of this beautiful bird William, I wish there was a bit more room above the bird though.

    Hi William,

Like the light, bird pose, color and feather details. It's tack sharp. Agree with Nick about room above the bird. TFS! Cheers! Miro

Getting a birdie on the old course is always a good thing :-)

I like the preening pose, comp and BG.

An albatross or an eagle would be even better Alan Thanks for looking

Nice behavior, William. I could see a looser compostion.

Beautiful shot, excellent details, I too would prefer the subject just a tad smaller in the frame. I would check the whites on the left cheek I don't now if they are blown but if possible I would be tempted to tone them down a bit.

What a setting! I am a golfer so am drooling over your walk by the course.
Lovely preening pose and good BG.
IQ and feather details are excellent.
Would love a bit more room at the top if you have it,
    Gail

Preening behavior is superbly captured here. Handsome little bird. Details show well and the sharpening looks spot on. I enjoy what you have captured in the bg....all that is except for the upper right corner where some type of post processing looks a bit suspect...? Another vote for more space on the top of the frame if you have it.
