Wouldn't recommend that move after ingesting a fish !!! They do turn at a high rate of speed to blur at 640!!!!!!
I've seen them do that twirl but for no particular reason.

This is such a fun image. I see my macaws do this all the time to dry feathers or to reset feathers back into the proper orientation.
I really love the little water droplets you see flying off of this herons head :D
Again.. really fun capture.
