This is the same fellow whose image I posted earlier. That was a profile pose and a landscape format. Here I am posting one with a head on pose and a vertical crop. This was shot at Kabini, Nagarhole reserve, KA, India.

    Hi Sanjeev,

what an animal, so funny to look at. I would love to see more detail on the hair at the ears and forehead. The eyes look great. Very nice image.

Hi Sanjeev- A cute pose and nice vertical alternative. The exposure and detail was better on your prior post. You may be able to recover more here though it looks like the top of the head was too hot and without detail. Keep them coming.

    Rachel

Hi Sanjeev, like the DoF on this and the sharpness. The posture and framing also work well. I think you can afford to lose some off the sides without the subject looking too cramped and getting away from the original concept. Blowing a bit of colour back into the highlights also helps IMHO, WDYT?

Thanks for sharing this wonderful image of an animal I have never even heard of. Where does it live? Habitat? Country? Those ears look like little paint brushes and with the light tones legs it is too, too cute.

Thanks Artie. This is a Malabar Giant Squirrel, found in the Malabar hills (Nilgiri hills) of Southern India. It is found in the tropical rain forests of Western Ghats. They are quiet huge in size and super cute! Steve, I agree about putting some colour in the highlights, I never thought of that :-)
    cheers
