I captured this image today at home at a bush that attracts hummingbirds. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Hi Joe,
I am trying to like this one!
I don't like the mint green color in the BG (personal taste issue).
I do wish the hummer was turned more towards us as well. I really like the fanned tail and the little dangling feet but wish the wing position was either fully up or down.
I like where you are going with the composition of this image.
Do you have anymore with a better pose?
    Gail

Hello Gail, here is another with the wings raised, also I de-saturated the BG. The mint green BG was the grass on the golf course behind my house, not sure why the color comes out that shade of green. Maybe the angle of the sun or the distance it is from the bird.

I'm OK with the green BG of the original, and I especially like the clump of vegetation...great colours on the flowers and lines on the leaves. The wing position is much better on the repost, but on both the hummingbird is angled slightly away from you. Great spot, and I'm sure you will be photographing more from there!
