Great shot Karl. Tough to get both of them in focus and sharp. I've tried it in similar situations but have to go up a few f/stops... ;)

Just like little children - good capture Karl. The right hand bird looks a little 'soft' to me, no doubt because of the limited DoF. I wonder if you have tried to selectively sharpen this bird? Regards, Ian.

Fun image of the juvie interaction, Karl. While the front bird is sharper, the rear one is sharp enough to make the image work. The viewer's focus is really on the one with t]he open beak.

Very cool to see swallow interaction images like this Karl. I'm envious of the opportunity you had with this species. I've got squadoosh on this species....If you had time, as in if they were not going anywhere fast, taking the 1.4 off or leaving it on and backing up a few feet to get more dof would have been a consideration.

A fun interaction image that is for certain! Although it works as is I do wish you had more dof or that the two subjects were on the same plane of focus - but that is alot to ask for eh! Good BG with a nice shade of green.
