This was photographed at Kabini, Nagarhole national park, KA, India. The OOF tree stumps are at the banks of Kabini river, not sue if they were felled purposely by the park staff....

Lovely soft light here with nice detail Sanjeev, shame about the stumps as they are a distraction especially the grouping around the antlers, could also do with a slight CCR level.

Hi Sanjeev this looks so nice from the color/tonal aspect you processed this very good. Loads of detail over the whole tonal range , well done.
Good colors and i like the behavior you have captured .Very good clean FG and basically BKG , too, if there would not have been the tree stumps conflicting with the antlers.
Moving is making the difference , but in the heat of the moment ........ it could have been me pressing the shutter .And Marc is right about the leveling .

Hi Sanjeev - I echo Marc and Andreas' comments about the image. Your pp is looking really good with great detail and tones. First thing I noticed was that it needed some ccw rotation. Too bad about the stumps but with so many it might have been difficult to avoid them.

Great image indeed, colours and tones look good to me, i do however agree on the slight rotation and that the stumps and the line coming in from the left really distract from the image, if you not opposed to removing them it may be a good idea, i did a very quick cloning job on the below RP to give you an idea.

Lovely soft light and an impressive specimen. Lovely IQ on the animal too...stumps have been mentioned - wonder if it's an intruder species in the park?
Repost by Brendon is cool if you don't mind doing cloning on your images.

Thanks everyone. Agree with you reg the stumps. Brendon's RP is awesome. I don't mind cloning to some extent. Morkel, the park has thousands of spotted deer. And hundreds of Elle's. I have some cool shots of elephants mating .....will post em soon

Hi Sanjeev, yep every image gets just that much better.

Perhaps not the most flatting of POV's, but it's behavioural. Moving the vehicle to the left so you were shooting more to the right would have given you a cleaner BKG perhaps, was it possible to do so? You would then be in position for a better angle too, of the subject I would guess. Techs looks right, and good PP.
