    Default spotted sandpiper

Taken at first light this morning. She would fly into this perch, but would land before the tip. She would then finish climbing the pole. Beautiful to watch.
    7D, 700mm, F/9, 1/5000, ISO 1600, Monopod. Cropped from horizontal.

Killer light and BG. Fun behavior and I like seeing the droplets of water.

Great landing shot, Enrique. Gorgeous light and background, perfect head angle, captured just at moment of touchdown. Only thing one might have wished for in a perfect world would be a more open near wing; but I'd take this in a heartbeat. TFS

This is a really cool image Enrique! Lovely light and the BG helps the bird pop out the image. I also like the fun side of this one as he looks like he may not make it. TFS

Unusual and interesting image. Perfectly captured the behavior. Sweet BG, colors and water droplets. Super!

Unique Spotted Sandpiper image that is for sure! A better near wing position would have been killer good! Interested to see if you have some of it perching comfortably atop that perch...
