Nice habitat shot for a rarely posted species. Good alert pose and great surroundings.

Hi Sanjeev - great to see a different species and I too like the inclusion of the habitat. Nice sharpness and detail. If it were mine I would darken the greens a bit, drop the blues that are evident in the snout and the tree behind and burn the highlights in the bg a little more. Finally, I would give it just a small boost in curves. Easy tweaks that will take it up a notch IMHO.
TFS,
Rachel

Hello Sanjeev!
I like this, great pose from the wild pig. Subject well placed in the frame and that BG makes him stand out. I too see a slight colour cast on the face and the little hairs on the back - could you try fix it, I think it is well worth the effort. I am wondering whether a luminance layer might help bring some more detail in places (like left front limb and chin of the subject). I like the eye and the look he's giving you, as if he saw you and suddenly stopped in its tracks, unsure what to do: a surprised yet quite bold look! And Rachel is right, you could give this image a tad more punch by enhancing the greens. Great stuff Sanjeev, it would be lovely if you had the time to write a few words to tell us more about the place where you shot this and what the circumstances were - I personally love some background, especially when I get to view a new species!
Kind regards,

Hi Sanjeev ,
nice habitat shot of the wild boar with the pose taking this up a notch .
Agree with Rachel about her tonal/color suggestions .And would like to add that i do feel the blacks are looking a bit blocked , and think you can open them up a fraction and get a bit detail , specially in the front legs and the belly.
Good to see something different .

Nice one Sanjeev. You received some good suggestions above, I would add that I would reduce the magentas a little, they're coming through in the pig's coat...
