For a long time Ive tried to get a shot of one of these guys. They are so beautiful with there deep blue colors and a green BG. Yesterday during a rain storm I managed to get this shot, through the window of my office. I have feeders out there and this guy was looking for some sunflower seeds but the feeder was occupied with a batch of Rose Breasted Grossbeaks at the time so he had to wait his turn in a nearby tree.

Aside from a few too many thiin branches in BKGR I like it. Nice head angle and saturated colors.

    Hi Kenn,

A very gentle pose. The colors are very vivid which makes your subject pop in the frame. However, I find the bird soft in my monitor, Artie already mentioned the BG.

    Keep them coming!

Good-looking specimen and very nice pose. As mentioned, the bird looks a bit soft.
