I like the composition and the subject matter. I wonder if the contrast is a little high, the dragonfly is very dark and the perch equally bright. Maybe a different raw conversion would be worthwhile considering?
Hi Joseph. I, too, like the long, flowing end of the perch as well as the placement of the dragonfly in the frame. Good overall sharpness and a clean background. I might wish for a bit more detail in the whitish portions of the stem, but those areas tend to blow out very easily. Very nicely done!
I love the artistic composition and sharpness! I'd also think about reducing contrast in the raw conversion. Don't know your software, but the Shadows and Highlights sliders in ACR/LR can be amazing.
