Default Theme: HORSE DRAWN HAY RAKE

Last night I had the opportunity to ramble around a farm equipment junk yard. The post processing is Topaz Simplify 4, Line & Ink, Cartoon by D. Pacheco. I intended to submit this as a theme image.

When I saw the thumbprint, I thought this would be interesting, and it is. Like the unusual point of view. I am thinking, though, that given the theme is old, you might have gone too "modern" in your approach with PP.

Great colors and angle of view.

Great graphic image, love the colours. I think it emphasizes the rust. Also great angle of capture, very creative.

Gary, love the perspective and balance in the frame. Using thirds to place the sharpest part of the framework keeps attention on the texture. My only critique is the bright space-it's a bit overwhelming as is. Creative processing with interesting colors.

Lovely colors and symmetry. Good eye to capture this.

Obviously I am wrong about this being too modern for the "old" theme, based on other comments. I really like the image and colors and especially the angle, point of view.

Hi Gary, I like this one a lot. I've seen lots of cool stuff like this, having grown up in Indiana. I think it's fine for the theme and added the prefix for you. I think the theme is open to interpretation and the subject is indeed an old object even if the processing seems "modern". The treatment works really well for me and I do agree about the bright sky but I don't think there's much to be done about it. Unfortunately, when we try to subdue bright whites like that they end up turning gray.
