    I captured this image this morning at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique always welcome. Thank you for viewing.

    A nice bird, lively lit and with nice BG. I would try to increase contrast or lower the exposure a bit.

    Lots to like here. Excellent pose, pleasant bg, sharp, like the little puff of feather RLC. Agree with Juan about the exposure.

    On the repost, ran a 59% multiply blend layer on entire image. I have slightly overdone it for the sake of demonstration, but I think it adds considerable snap to the image.

    Hi Joseph, this location of yours seems to have a wonderful variety of different subjects, and I like this preening pose from the crane. I thought the sharpening in your OP wasnt that far off, but do like what Randy has done with the multiply blending layer ( I use it quite a lot myself ). Cheers.
