Default Black bear cub on tree

From a trip last week to Grand Teton N.P. Found a cinnamon black bear sow with 2 spring cubs one brown the other black. This in not unusual since the siblings can have different fathers, the sow usually breeds with more than on male. The vegetation made it difficult to photograph the cubs on the ground but when they played on the trees it was all good.....

Hi Dale - Your usual stellar work. High cute factor here. I do find the blue flower at the middle of the cub's back slightly distracting though.

It would be great if you could comment on other people's images. As you know, we recommend commenting on 3-5 other images when you post one of your own. It helps everyone to learn a bit more about the forum posters as well as learn from them.

Super cute and love the framing with the green bush at the bottom. Lovely pose - the fur just feels a tad oversharpened to me?
Great to see you posting again, and I concur with Rachel's sentiments.

Hi Robert, what a cutue. Love the sharpness and BG, good exposure, head turn. Too bad about the OOF Green at the bottom though. If you leave more space at the bottom, it would be too dominant, but without it it feels as if you cropped right thru the bottom of the cub. TFS. Loi

Nice shot. I like the cub's arm running up the trunk and the covering of green across the bottom.
