This giant suirrel was feeding on these tiny leaves on a tree, They are very skittish and seldom stay put and are found high up in the branches so getting a clear shot with smooth BG is difficult. I couldn't do much about the mottled BG but was glad I got some good detail and feeding behaviour.

This is one special image Sanjeev!!! A species I have not seen before, love the plum-coloured fur and nice detail overall - well done! Good exposure and I like the crop and presentation I have no issues with the BG, like it as it is.

    Kind regards,

Hi Sanjeev - Interesting squirrel species and fun to see. You have brought out some nice detail and it looks well processed. I would consider a crop from the right to put the body in the actual urc and get rid of some of the clutter on that side. Also there is a faint white line going up from the left edge of the tuft to the top of the frame and another one from the branch below the paw down. They may be cobwebs or something similar. I would either blend it in or clone it out depending on your preference.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Hi Sanjeev , very nice image with great colors(just asking curious , are they that plummish red ?) You have very nice detail/sharpness in the fur , and i like the overall tones . BKG is fine for me , but think Rachel gave good suggestion about the crop .

You really get along with your PP now , very nice to see your progress over the times .

Lovely critter! I agree with Rachel's crop suggestion, and I like the effect of the bokeh blotches in the BG...

Thanks everyone. The color of the squirrel is indeed that color! And the size of the squirrel could easily be half a meter long! Appreciate your comments.

I really like this image Sanjeev. I never realised that squirrels could reach these sizes. It is really a handsome/ beautiful species and very colourful. I agree with the crop suggestion but have no problem with the spiderweb anchor lines. good PP work and really great detail shown here. Excellent
