Default Crested Serpent Eagle in habitat

This was another serpent eagle we spotted at Nagarhole Sanctuary, KA, India. I couldn't do much about the branch passing behind the back of the eagle. Nothing cloned out, image is as is except for minor PP tweaks. I liked the way the 5D3 performed at the higher ISO setting. Couldn't have imagined getting the shot with my 7D at that ISO!

Wow, you certainly got a very handsome bird in this frame!
I have previously used the 5DIII and agree about it being capable of handling high ISOs. I am not bothered by the branch in the back of the eagle, it could be clonable but like I say it is not as offending in this picture.

    Excellent image ,
Sanjeev. Very nice pose, beautiful colors and nice details. Composition is beautiful with nice habitat.
Would tone down the bright spot in between perch and tail. Minor issue.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Hi Sanjeev. Like the pose and all details on the bird. Well balanced light and natural color. BG is fine for me and I like the composition too. Well done! Cheers! Miro
