Took the dog and my camera for a walk this morning. It was cloudy which I liked, but also had to deal with the gusty wind. A single salsify flower in a large patch of tall, waving grasses caught my attention. This is an in-camera blur with a low ISO and very slow shutter speed.

To the original image I added a reduced layer of fractalius to give a bit of definition to some of the grasses and a layer from Topaz simplify, cartoon by D. Pachero.

Love it! Beautiful, beautiful green shapes, tones, textures. It does look like the flower and the grasses are blowing in the wind. You did a lovely job. I might crop a bit from all around, but, it isn't a bit deal. Nice work!

Maybe because I've been photographing dogs recently, but I just had a vision of you walking along with your camera on a leash...

This is really pretty, love the colors and the blurring and that lone yellow flower placed just right in the frame. It looks very painterly and artistic. Very nice!

Hi, Nancy, I like the soft colors and Fractalius really added something to the grasses. It is very "painterly".
