This family was more successful at the same location by raising two chicks out of four.
They can fly now. This is one of the parents.
The other family I reported earlier lost the eggs again.
    Thanks for looking.

    Excellent image.
Spectacular inquisitive pose, beautiful colors, nice fine details, great IQ, nice habitat and of course composition.

Beautiful capture, Karl. Like the feather display, head turn, and IQ. Nice low angle.

Nice that you caught him in a mid-preen pose. Techs look good and I like the eye contact. Well done Karl.

Wow! Karl this one really pops, beautiful feather detail and pin sharp, give yourself a pat on the back for this one.

    Cheers Keith.

Love this preening pose but I just took it into PS and it looks better with a crop all around but esp from the bottom.

I wouldn't have though about a crop but I like it that way. Gorgeous sharpness and feather detail with a lovely soft color palette.

Sorry but I would stay with the original post as it shows some very beautiful habitat! enough space for the bird to look at and with special light. Love the bright eye ring on this guys! Did you applyed NR on BG?

Thanks Juan. Yes I did in layers, but the selection might not have been perfect and I might have left out some parts close to the bird when selected.

I like the original. The selection for noise reduction has left a noticeable artefact over the bird's forehead and tail. easy fix. But a fine capture in all respects.

Hi Karl, great low angle of capture, and I like this pose with the raised tail. I do like your repost.
