Black Shouldered Kite

Apologies again for completely disappearing from the scene but im back again, atleast for the time being Starting with a Black Shouldered Kite I shot back in Jan while birding in Southern parts of India. Unfortunately for me I got a sharp focus after the bird dropped a lizard that it had picked out of the shallow grass.

this is a handsome raptor, they are identical to our white-tailed kites. you got him sharp with good exposure, I wish the eye contact was stronger, good work on getting rid of empty space, a vert works better here
