    Excellent choice on perch and background color that compliments the bird. Nice looking back pose.

    Alan, this is a sweet perch, beautiful bird with lovely comp. the BG is cool & compliments the bird & setup.

    photos like this really inspire me to improve, never have I seen such detail in the feathers of a waxwing, they always seem to be too smooth for detail.

    Beautiful color pallet, nice perch ,great fine details on nicely posed waxwing and composition.

    Beautiful image Alan. Well framed and cracker of a BG! IMO the only thing that would be even better is if the bird's head was turned a little more side on (but this is the tiniest of things on what is a super image)
