Hi Sanjeev good/excellent detail in the head and top plumage, but the darker areas are choked and need some selective work just to tease a little more detail out, but just be careful and not over do things. I don't mind the perspective looking up, I just hate looking down. I also feel going slightly tighter, with a little less, above, below and to the RHS can help. 1/4000 may seem a tad high, but HH and working from a boat you may have wanted just a hint more SS compared to being on land. Like the fact there is some tonal value within the BKG oppose to a white.

Excellent details on the top. You might want to open up the dark on the bottom part of the bird.

A nice sharp image with good detai, agree that opening up the underside might improve the overall effect.

Nice detail and comp. Angle is a little steep and agree with opening up the darks.

    Sanjeev,

Very nice. I have had major difficulty getting a good exposure on Cormorants where the background is wide open sky, but yours looks very good to me. I agree with the previous posts suggesting you try to get a little more out of the darkest blacks but overall I think it is a very nice result.
