    Its a great area for photographing small birds without using a set up

    A lovely natural looking shot. The subject a little "heavy" to me, I would suggest play around with exposure/contrast or brightness to lift it slightly.

    Love the grassy setting here, and the prey item is a neat bonus. Graphically strong with the perch bent horizontally and framed by the vertical ones. Checkout those long thin claws on the feet!! Well balanced composition. Bird looks a bit "crunchy" as if too aggressively sharpened.

    I love the environment, and the way the grasses make the composition. Great prey. I also see a little crunchiness.
