I captured this image of a Green Heron a while back at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. I thought the pose was different in a nice way. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing. Does the title date me?

Yes I love the pose, I don't think it is over exposed ...but perhaps just a little bright?

Hi Joseph. To be honest I am not sure what to make of this one. Like the pose, love parts of the BG but not blown away by the perch and some distracting elements in the BG. IMO, a less complex BG would be a preference for me on this one. That said, I still think it is a cool image.

Neat pose for sure, and I really like the tall dry perch. Too bad about the fg foliage in lower right corner though. I like the bg colours but yes some elements are a bit distracting...did you clone out some stuff there? As for the brightness Jon mentions, if you take your image into PS and lower the midtones (in Levels) to 0.85 - 0.80 I think you might like the result.

The title only dates you a little bit :-)

I find this to be a pretty powerful image full of interest. Agree re midtones.
