    Great eye contact and sharpness on the bird. The branch is quite distracting though.

    Beautiful subject with tons of good details. The yellow face is nicely rendered. Both the BG tree and the FG branch are unfortunate...would you have been able to move to your left to get those in check?

    Thanks John & Daniel. This was taken from a safari vehicle and with limited time the guides are focused on looking for big cats, they seldom manoeuvre the vehicle around for the best angle, esp for birds! Indian forests are quiet dense with lot of foliage hence avoiding branches and getting a clean shot with no distractions is not easy. (There are no set up perches here) I was quiet glad to get this image showing that yellow eye and feather detail nicely.

    Beautiful Eagle with beautiful colors and great details. Magnificent image in habitat.

    I do agree with you about the difficulties in safari vehicle to shoot birds.
