    Default Alexandrine Parakeet

From one of the lucky days, when the subject was very cooperative and allowed a very close approach. I zoomed in to 400mm and tried to make some different shots of the species.

Very nice, Munish, with an interesting pose and great color. I'd be tempted to tone down the area behind the eye which is a bit bright IMO.

Oh man the details on the wings are hypnotizing!! I do wish you had stopped down to get the full head just as sharp too. Beautiful deep and vivid greens. I'd add back a bit at right for the feather that is skimming the edge (if you have it) and I'd remove the two white specks on the feathers. Is ISO 2000 correct or is it really 200?

    Hi Daniel
I wish I could stop down to f8 but that would have meant a ss of around 1/125 handheld. ISO was already 2000 so couldnt risk taking it beyond 2k. This is the full frame so no cropping here. I would be posting another one here with yours and Ian's recommendations.
Thanks a lot for the detailed review.

    Regards
    Munish

    Hi All,

Here's the optimized image as per the feedback.
