    I captured her this evening, again at Old Course, St Andrews, on the sand dunes. I couldn't get a decent shot at the male bird, maybe next time

    So delicate, super pose and perch idyllic background, catchlight in the eye - not a whole lot wrong with this one! Great shot well done.

    Hi Wiliam I like the pose and the perch and the nice smooth bg,could be my old eyes but the bird does look a little soft, very nice image.

    Unusual perch William. One of my bogey birds untill this year.! Are you sure its not a male by the way ? A lot of birds are moulting early this year.

    Hi John

    There was a male near to it, but not close enough to photograph, but, the birds were a lot different, the male was extremely black around the face area, thats what made me think this one was a fem

    What a lovely little bird William. I like the elegant slanted perch and the sweet bg. I'd crop a bit from the top (so that the perch runs through the entire frame) and move the bird further up a bit. Nicely done
