    I like your exposure control here, Bill. This is a particularly difficult subject to photograph successfully. I'm normally not attuned to a detail like this, but is there just a little too much green hue (in the blacks) of the image?

    Bill:

    Nice preening pose, eye exposed and open! Well exposed, sharp.

    At the risk of going a bit to square, I could see a crop from the right, as all the action is turned back towards the left by the head/body position. Might be worth a quick look.

    Randy, I think you make a good point; I could probably afford to lose some from the right.
    Bob, since most of the blacks are actually green leaves in shadow, I would expect to see them look a bit green. I don't believe there is any overall green cast to the image.
