    Bit of something in the background too. Only one bird at my site so it will be last years stuff to keep up with the LO craze

    Very nice image with good head angle and the prey is a big plus. Love the BG too. What was the reason for de saturating the BG? Loi

    HI, the background is a quarry (rock face) and when the light is just peeping through late evening it produces a almost bright yellow glow that basically overtakes the image,i have some images were it works but it just as to be a bit later in the evening

    Good call desaturating the BG, it looks tastefully tamed here. Good perch and I like the way the owl is clinging to it. A bit of a cyan cast to the owl's plumage and the perch, an easy fix by adding a bit of red to the colour balance, but all else looks good to me.
