    Taken yesterday on local river,they come on here to feed,cannon500mm IS ,L,F4,7D,tripod,iso400,1/400S,F5.6,crop,sharpened,level's,NR on BG.just seen a dark spot on bird's breast,should have cloned.sorry.

    Another nice LRP on big stones. Onlyever seen them on gravel pits. I wouldn't worry about the spot.

    Neat setting, and this little fella chose the right rock to perch on and shows its feet nicely. Good comp. Yes the spot on the belly should go and I would sharpen the subject more for web presentation (at least the eye area).

    Hi Chris, I like the eye level perspective, and what a great pose. Overall well exposed, and well placed in the frame. Just enough of the rocks at the bottom to work well.

    Spectacular image of beautiful bird. I like the rocks and placement of bird. Very nicely composed frame.

    Nice looking subject Chris and I like the pose and setting. Looks a little lacking in the fine feather detail though. Another round of sharpening should help this nice frame. Well done
