The Palouse fields really lent themselves to pan blurs. This one was taken on one of the last days of our trip of a field that was partially planted. Not as colorful as Artie's fields but I like the soft muted colors. Basically just a levels adjustment in post processing.

    Thanks for looking

I was going to just take a quick look at some images and come back, briefly, tomorrow to comment on what I saw, but I've already spent a long time looking at this one. Ever since seeing the typical Palouse images, I've wanted to go there. This is anything but typical. I like the color combination as well as the softness of the colors. The blur, in combination with the lighting and tonal variations of the landscape, is superb. Great composition, too. A beautiful piece of work.

This is so soothing and serene, with the graceful flowing lines and soft colors! I especially like that line of green extending from the center right into the tan. Very effective minimalist approach.

Very "earthy" and lovely. The colors and shapes evoke a sense of the unspoiled land and wide open spaces. Very nice!

Cheryl, I like the soft texture and muted tones. You have nicely captured the Palouse.
